sunlight portrayed through my window

Nature's Artist

Sun rays shine through my window,
Designing shadows with grace.
Like an artist carefully sketching,
A portrait of ribbon and lace.
Splashing new colours, through crystal,
Forming prisms of green, pink and blue.
My wall now reflects the magic.
Each canvas is different and new.
I will always be amazed and wonder,
How such a wonderful sight,
Can be created and portrayed
From one single ray of light.
