Just a little something I came up with.

Little one I'll never know
I wish there was a way
to tell you so
that we would have
loved and cared for you.

Little one with little
hands and little feet
that i will never
touch or meet.

Please little one understand
that mommy and daddy
wanted to give you
a better life then what
we have right now.

Just know little one
that when we are
more prepared as parents
we will hold you in
out arms and hear your
baby voice and love you.

Little one when the
times comes and we are
ready we will play with
your small hands and
your small feet.

We will be the best
parents we can be
for you little one
just hold tight for
that faithful day.

Just sleep now little one
and dream about your
life with a mommy and
daddy like us who will
love you and protect you.

For now just sleep
and dream little one
and someday you will
be here in our loving arms.
