Light through broken glass

Fractured Light

This broken glass that allows you to stream;
So brightly you shine a glorious gleam.

Unpolished glass that fogs, fading you out.
Now tampered, shattered, letting you stream.

Nothing holds such a polished flush like,
Crackling glass allowing prisms to stream.

Ragged edges that reflect like diamonds.
Shimmers, flowing through a vivid stream.

To look through a window is not the same,
As when it is broken, to let you stream.
