The moment slaps me in the face. Your love
appeared before my soul with tenderness.
Your voice invades my psyche from above
as melodies allow me to confess

that love for you has conquered all my pain
as it has done for years and years. The songs
have found a place within my soul again
as words of wisdom taught me all along

to never keep support away from those
who helped you in the past. With 25
and counting, I who found songs that dispose
my pain and help me come to terms with life.

Back then your voice did haunt me to the core...
and now that voice has made me love you more.
