It’s not complicated. I’ve offered my heart. A Country Western Music Entry
Take It or Leave It

I’ve always thought of myself as strong.
No matter what happens I can get along.
All of that changed the day I met you.
Things I once believed are now no longer true.

I find myself humming the latest love song
and I grin ear to ear as the day moves along.
My friends are all worried I’ve lost my mind
but it’s just loneliness I’ve left behind.

(Refrain)
It’s not complicated. I’ve offered my heart.
Now it’s up to you. Do you stay or depart?
It’s time to decide; do you leave it or take it?
Whatever you choose, just please don’t break it.

I look back on my life which I thought was just great
only to see it was empty ‘till fate
introduced me to the wonder of you.
With each passing moment, I found my love grew.

Now, not a day goes by that I can’t find
reasons to love you with whole heart and mind.
I cannot go on without you in my life.
I’m down on my knees asking you “Be my wife?”

(Refrain)
It’s not complicated. I’ve offered my heart.
Now it’s up to you. Do you stay or depart?
It’s time to decide; do you leave it or take it?
Whatever you choose, just please don’t break it.

I wait for your answer. I’m holding this ring.
I act nonchalant like it don’t mean a thing.
But deep inside, I am filled with doubt
I am uncertain how this will turn out.

(Refrain)
It’s not complicated. I’ve offered my heart.
Now it’s up to you. Do you stay or depart?
It’s time to decide; do you leave it or take it?
Whatever you choose, just please don’t break it.
