The Morning Star

Inspired by 2 Peter 1:19.

The Morning Star is bright, an alluring prize.
His regal love glows through our gleaming eyes.

When Christ appears and His brilliant light shines,
the world will pause at His majestic signs.

Be known by beauty that comes from within,
not by your actions that result in sin.

The forgiving love which He advances
atones your sins and He gives you chances

to repent for your imperfect misdeeds.
Walk down the narrow path to where He leads.

All the miraculous signs from above
are outpourings of His heavenly love.

His door is open to all those who knock.
He is liberation. He is our rock.

For those of you who refuse to take heed,
once you’ve departed, its too late to plead.

I encourage you: Greet your Revered Guest,
so that He can show you Eternal Rest.

Wherever you are, He'll meet you right there.
If your heart is tattered, He'll mend the tear.

The Holy Spirit within us creates
our loving hearts and He masters our fates.

He’ll place you safely on a mountain high.
In time, he’ll dispel all those tears you cry.

Your pain will be removed with loving care.
A sanctified love with Jesus you’ll share.
