| {{b}c:violet} DE JA VU I’ve had a dream, I seen him before In a life, of battle and war A feeling so strong I endure Reminiscing of a time I don’t know Clothes I see, unfamiliar too me.. Yet… His presence sooths my sight As water quenches my thirst I remember now…in another Life! It was a cold winters day His arms wrapped tight around me He comforts and guides me He whispered in my ear, words that so appear, To make me quiver … like a flock charging across the river To battle he must charge, I cry, I scream, don’t go! What can I do to show…your loss, I can’t endure? I’ll, swim in a pool of glass, I'll, shield you from the blast, I’ll, sell my organ parts, I’ll, be dust from your swords thrust. I’ll sacrifice my soul Just stays with me…don’t go! This battle need loose no more, my tears blood drops of fear, I just want to keep you safe near. ©Simona J Hall 2014 |
