Spring sonnet.
Spring’s in the Air.

The blossom is in the trees once again.
Trumpeting daffodils next to the lawn.
Young birds are singing a morning refrain.
Tadpoles are wiggling about in the spawn.

Let us rejoice now the winter has gone,
still giving thanks for the fresh rainy breaks.
They help to bring all the spring flowers on,
and fill all the streams, the ponds and the lakes.

Wondrous to see how the new cycle starts;
with great joys to cherish each waking day.
The Lord's rhythm growing in the young hearts,
and summer not being so far away.

It’s all around us and for all to share
The joy of new life when Spring’s in the air.
