The fabric of our lives

To this Earth, this life.
We are all part
of the same cloth
sewn together,
meshed, not forced.
We all belong;
we all can see it
though some choose
to remain blind.
One day, one thing
will open their minds,
set them free of their captivity,
so then they can see.
When their eyes open
their mind will too,
and with that
a whole new world
will open up to us,
welcoming all, blind to hate,
recognizing differences
and accepting them
as they are.
