Straying from God

Why one strays from God
is beyond me and my reasoning,
but that is me, I have strayed;
way too far gone.
But is that so true?
No, God forgives and forgave
and gave Jesus.
Straying and doubting is a part of a test, to see
see if you truly believe.
Believe in Him, the Almighty.
For I was lost and strayed,
But now I'm back.
Don't ever give up,
Don't ever turn away,
For He is alive forever.
