If in despair: hope joy is around the corner; or be sure to tell it you're waiting.
Plea to Joy

Here are my many tears

of my many sorrows

and my many fears

in my past

of my present

for my future they stay

a stain like blood

on a white linen cloth

a regrettable memory

at my side

in heart

and soul

I know they’ll pass

joy will overtake them

but till then

I will trudge on

with load strung on back

head held high

I will move on

With feet in cadence

with my beating heart

I will continue

for now these tears

will stain my heart

but nothing can stay forever

soon joy come soon

for though I march

I am weary

come so the tears

of my many sorrows

and many fears
will be at rest forever
