A shiny apple is what I brought to kindergarden class,
To put on my favorite teacher’s desk,



When no smile came like mom said,
I lost mine,



A correct answer,
I shouted to all,



My pride, shied when no pat on the back answered it back,
But, my A plus returned it for me,



When the only gladness came from me,
My Aplus-it turned to a C,



When the F came to showcase my failure,
Attention, at last was turned back to me.
