Just for a moment

Think of Me

I'd like to think that once in awhile I’m
thought of and memories of me shine 'gain.
Remembering me more from time to time.
Maybe me missing will drive them insane.
Thinking of me when they cry more lately,
or when they hear another classic pun.
Maybe when they think about white daisies,
or smell warming sugar and cinnamon.
I'd like to think that I was the reason
someone awoke today or why they laugh.
Hope I gave them something to believe in
even if small, 'cause a bit is enough.
Though, I was a song unfavorable:
lyrics bad and feelings unlikable.
