A Mirror Acrostic
summer warmth wanes
evenings grow quietly elusive.
people gather inside now; locked up;
to meet winter, now in our midst.
entering our hibernation, alone.
maybe there will be a day that's warm,
before the snow settles upon our tomb.
everyone must take the time;
remember the warmth of September.
