A Double Etheree
Masks
removed,
thrown on the
ground. Only now
nothing remains but
a large gaping hole where
your beautiful face used to
shine. Your eyes, nose, mouth all are gone;
nothing remains of your vibrant life.
No, you discarded all your emotions.
Now, no one can see who you really are.
All these masks were your identity;
without them you are lost. You can't
share your happiness, sadness.
Your identity; gone.
You are a blank slate,
with nothing left
of you but
removed
masks.
