Friendship

The importance of Friendship. A poem written for PDG Alumni Contest.

Friendship is the hand of God
That touches time and brings us through
In this deep truth, we muster strength
Each together we make due.

In this life we struggle onward
Alone it would be treacherous
But with friends to provide support
The path is not so dangerous.

Through love and war and in between
Hearts, bound in affectionate love
Will never part through time and space
A gift God gave from up above

Cherish this, my friend and believe
Together or apart we strive
To remember our bond and pray
Never divided, we will thrive.
