a decuain--I think of my muse as a dragon pushing me into more than I think I can do
when walking through the wood one winter’s night,
my musing filled with dragons in the snow,
I lost my way and slipped behind all sight
outside the bounds I thought I’d always know,
and found a dragon with his fire aglow
the sparks left stars that brushed across our feet
I touched his mighty wing, that moved so slow
and felt him change me, alter my heart beat—
he lent me wings to see past mortal light
and words that echo dreams of dragon flight
