My creative writing class was told to express our greatest fear.
The future is perhaps the most frightening thing in my life. With the expectations of attending college, moving out of my parent's home, and getting a job; I cannot help but grovel at the feet of the future. How can I be expected to mature so radically in such a minuscule amount of time? I;m still a child, innocent to the volatile "real world". I do not wish to grow up and face my future. I wish to remain seventeen forever: an immortal fool.
