A short poem about writing and finding your story. |
| There's a story in there somewhere, I can hear it calling. Calling for me to bring it to life, A story of adventure, romance, or strife. Find the muse, some people say, Let it breathe, Don't worry too hard or work too strict, Let your mind meander towards it. A castle on a hill, But the princess isn't there, A hero, beast, or monster of the deep, Perhaps a thief perfecting his creep. What tales await me, What goals for discovery, I'm always Learning, To make a page made for turning. There's a story in there, somewhere, I can feel it stirring. It wants to be found for all to see, Open the door, Set the table, Never let it leave. |
