How do you accomplish anything during a "free write" period?

How to be free?
I can't explain what needs to be plain
or say what I need to say.
I'm a follower
when I need to be a leader
and I'm eager
to be a believer
but I'm not yet broken
of words; unspoken
wit and charm
to be disarmed...
let's restart.

How do you write free?
What do you see? Is it you or me
or everything in between?
The chain
from the lock to the retained?
One doesn't function
or conjunction...
no separations or distinctions
without mistakes and
breaks and
a runaway train with words at stake.
It's all of that,
from tops to toes
and butts to nose.
Only freedom knows
where your words will go.
