Forever

Forever is just a word.
Nothing but a myth.
Just a sweet thought.
Something we want to be with.
We want things to last,
But they never could.
Maybe is life was different,
They just might would.
Our friends come and go.
Our nights turn to day.
Our laughs turn to tears.
Nothing can ever stay.
Our lives turn dull.
And… since nothing lasts forever,
As we get older,
There will be nothing left to remember.
