An Ode To You

Six haiku's and a couple of choruses.

And here are you now,

So close but so far away

And there are you now

Full of love and joy,

A falling star could not beat

Your shimmering smile

Jumping in puddles,

The splashes wash me away

And there went you now

My insecurities break

Like smashing glass on the ground

For utter selflessness' sake

I rip my whole heart apart

I saw you today,

A fleeting moment went by,

As I saw today.

You're mesmerizing

In your self-assured swagger

Words cannot describe

The Glockenspiel sang,

As you passed by my face,

A heavenly song

My insecurities broke

Like smashing dreams on the ground
