A poem about independence, and being who you truly are. |
| Walking through the garden, one bright morning in July, a single rose sprouting up, suddenly caught my eye. For this one single rose, was different from the rest. A yellow rose, among the red. And I must confess. I felt an urge to pluck this rose, because the color did not match. instead I left it growing there, in the red rose patch. I felt an independence coming from that single rose. It said "You can't tell me what to do, I have my own path I will go." Today that beautiful flower, in garden does still grow. Taller than the others, is the single yellow rose. |
