Music to the Ears

So many kinds of music to enjoy - a poem that rhymes.

A loving, joyful symphony,
The blues so wrought with empathy.
My rock n' roll laced ecstacy,
A country tune's absurdity.

Often, rap school's beat
Derives a jam so neat;
While hip-hop shakes your seat,
Much like r&b's elite.

A crooner's mighty best
Shows jazz may top the rest.
But alternative music's quest
Does truly beat its chest.

Much music through the years
Plays sweetly in my ears,
That pop song raising cheers,
Excitement, laughter, tears!
