You,
No doubt,
Intended
To hit "reply."
Yes, your life's busy;
E mails clog your inbox.
I ask questions to engage
You, to invite your perspective.
You've said you have no words of wisdom~
Sometimes an acknowledgment would be fine.
Yet "message received" feels awkward to you;
A balance of my wants and your will,
It is evidence I reached you~
And other relationships
Follow this pattern, too.
How to engage them
Perplexes me
As I reach
Out to
You.
