The changes in your life, year by year. |
| It was a very good year written by Ervin Drake and sung by Frank Sinatra I am not sure when this song came out. And I don't think Frank Sinatra was the only person to sing it, but this song will live on forever. It certainly has hit home with me every time I heard it at the age it was singing about. Seventeen - feeling free, having boyfriends, loving the nights outside Twenty-one - Close boyfriends - the song talks about the city girls who lived up the stair with hair that easily came undon. Thirty-five - Blue blooded boys and girls of independent means, riding in limos. Yeah, that was the way Now I am in the Autumn of my years and the days do grow short and so does the years. I drink fine wine and martinis and I feel I am in my vintage time. All good years. Lynda with a Y |
