This song will never go away either. Two lovers on the eve of a major war clinging together. The woman terrified, the young man so full of life and invincible. If you have ever loved then you understand this song very well. The sounds of war so close and you knowing/thinking it was the end. And yet, the stars were so bight you both lived that night. This song has always touched my heart. As with today, our young men fight wars and are proud to fight them to keep our freedom.
Some make it home, not ever wanting to talk about it and then some never come home or if they do, it is in a box.
