Seize the moment.

Never let the moment seize you
even if it enters grinning.
If you let the moment seize you,
you may want a new beginning.

Never let the moment grab you
even if the hands are warming.
If you let the moment grab you,
you may find resentment forming.

Moments may be quite attractive;
the raiment fancy, shiny shoes.
If you let a moment seize you,
you may, indeed, have much to lose.

Beware moments forming smartly
luring you before you’re ready.
They can pull you under quickly
like an eager ocean eddy.

Watch out for those magic moments
forming like a diamond’s glitter.
Be aware of consequences
even if you feel atwitter.

Seize, then, each and every moment
to ensure lasting happiness.
When you stop and seize the moment,
you’ll surely build assertiveness.
