I want to be a man like you.
To raise money for charity;
We gave trinkets away for free,
Bright decorations throughout the place,
I had this one in the bag.
When the guests arrived to play,
They were giving none away,
It's obvious that I'd failed,
I felt my shoulders sag.

Please, Mr. Trump, don't fire me,
I'm a businessman,
Why can't you see?
I want to be a man like you,
A billionaire tried and true.

Advertising is a skill,
It tests the soul and shows the will,
With the help of my hand-picked team,
We offered up our theme,
When they chose the other side,
I felt as if inside I'd died,
My mates said I was the one to blame,
Can I be redeemed?

Please, Mr. Trump, don't fire me,
I'm a businessman,
Why can't you see?
I want to be a man like you,
A billionaire tried and true.

Fashion shows are really hot,
Designers show off what they got,
Where fairy tales and dreams come true,
I dressed up to the nines,
When I slipped and fell on the stage,
I went into a screaming rage,
Now I regret the things I'd said,
But I can read between the lines.

Please, Mr. Trump, don't fire me,
I'm a businessman,
Why can't you see?
I want to be a man like you,
A billionaire tried and true.
