A short poem dedicated to a great serpent beast. |
Forward into the aqueduct seeking the notoriously famed, Deep down in the billowed waters secrets to be obtained Guarded by the mighty one, a legendary beast Slain a many a men, with so much as speech What archaic knowledge, do thou behold? Deep down within, the ethereal thresholds, As the embodiment of power materialized a physical form The monster withdrew a gasp of air that cast the halls forlorn The bellow shook the corridors below the sunshine's gaze The surface erupted violently, The mountains tremor as they quake As foretold in stories ago, when the mountain beast awakes. |
