Hey Sister, remember me

Hey Sister
Do you ever think of me?
When you're driving in your car
While you're sitting in a bar
What happened to our family?

Our lives became divided
Once our parents decided
It was easier to walk than talk
Hey Sister,
How'd you feel about that?

I don't know you any more
Years have seen us grow
Apart from who we were
Maybe that's how you want it, Sister
But that's not me
I'm not the enemy

So why the silence, sister
It's a heavy burden
We don't need to shoulder
