We went to get our taxes prepared at the house of our friend and accountant, who also ran a horse farm. As we were about to get into our truck after our appointment, a mother dog and five puppies rushed up to us. They were so cute - I picked up the one that was hanging back a bit - his little heart beating fast against me. I put him down so we could get going and he jumped into the truck! We looked at each other and the next thing we knew we were driving home with our new dog, Elvis.
