No One Can See

A short poem about being strong in pain for the people around you.

My Father is a liar

My mom is in tears

I hold in my pain, anger, and fears

My emotions are bottled

Locked in their cage

To keep people safe

To hold us together

People don't see my withering soul

Because all I feel is numb and dull

Who will save me from this dark

Take this weight this stone

From my heart

But I know deep down

There is no going back

No one will save me

It's all over now

I am fading fast

No one can see

Because no one can save the evil that is me
