There are innumerable tourist’s spot which are merely for entertainment; Utsav Rock Garden is a place where you can see super realistic sculptures of real size humans and animals. There are more than 2000 sculptures attracts you and takes you to new creative artistic world.
At the entrance, there is a mudded hill with two wheels; it is artistically designed with a nice idea. It represents time, move the wheels of time away and enter into the pre-independence era. After the entrance, there are idols of Kannada veteran actor Dr. Rajkumar. After the idols, you can see a creative and fantastically designed Banyan Tree. It is not just a Banyan tree; it has wide varieties of art works.
As you move, you can see indoor museum with wide array of different creative articles. Materials used for creative articles include pearls, glasses, and unused household items. Now move inside the hall which is in front of you! It is a marriage museum, the moment you enter; you will feel a real marriage ceremony is going on, a clicking sound of camera adds a realistic feel. All sculptures are beautifully made by hand and these are not moulded.
Model Village: There is a model village here. The houses of astrologer, Shettera angadi (old kirana store), Goudara mane (a leader in village) are all very nice to see. All the sculptures will give you a clear picture of our ancestor’s life style, their mode of transportation, different professions, old games etc. At last but not the least, you can enjoy boating amidst the calm nature. NH4’s (National Highway) broad view can be seen while boating.

How to reach here:
Utsav Rock Garden is at Gotgodi – on NH4. It is just 30 mins drive from Hubli. If you are driving from Hubli, it will be on your right side after Folk Lore University. If you are coming from Bangalore, It will be on your left side, just 6 kms after shiggaon taluk in Haveri district.
Visit once, you will be overwhelmed by this Art World.
