A origin story for the creation of earth written entirely in haikus
The Dawning of Earth
Penned by Harry Melia
Written in haikus

Once upon a time
There were three important Gods
Unknown were their names

All three had one task
Make the planet known as earth
Fruitful and Alive

The first god said that
"We should provide light for earth"
And so it was done

The second god said
"Life is important for earth"
Man & Beast were made

The third one spoke up
"Death and darkness is needed"
But he was ignored

This began the split
Where two earths were created
Both were different

One with only good
Which the two gods helped maintain
To guard life and light

Whilst the other earth
The one of darkness and death
Was unattended

Allowing this earth
To evolve and improve life
Because life adapts

On one fateful night
The two gods were found sleeping
Which left earth unsafe

Due to its shelter
It could not defend itself
Without the gods help

A demi-god knew
And attacked both of the planets
So that they would die

The first earth shone bright
And so it was attacked first
And swiftly it fell

The second earth fought
And were ready and able
Along with their god

The demi-god fell
Along with the earth of light
And the earth's two gods

So two shift to one
And the third god became God
Seeing earth hurt him

He'd thought of a plan
He would allow earth to live
As long as he slept

So he returned back
To his home of R'lyeh in which
Cthulhu sleeps for now
