Today I buried my mom
Dad and she both now rest in peace
They are next to my wife
My broken heart knows no release.

You never know the anguish one can feel
Until you lose your parents and spouse
It rends the soul to pieces
It makes one feel like a louse.

My mom was a beautiful woman
She held our family together
When somebody started to bicker
She made us all birds of a feather.

She was a wonderful mother
I will never have another.
