Razor-blade
Grab trickle of sunlight mixing with hot water
Razor blade
Slice through the fog the mirror can’t hold it all
images bloated images dried to a husk
Razor blade
the granaries are about to burst the tumult of august has left
An avalanche of dead things to disgorge with scissors
Razor blade the skin is felt so soft the tenderness is pink
the sky is colored red and rich auburn-storms rage in the airy jungle of your hair
Razor blade
the pipes are too tight moody I am drinking so long I don’t know how to drink
Razor blade
too many fathers and mothers clog your edge
Their breath is rust on your spine
Razor blade
cut the bed the old smoke the soft gut
Razor blade
nip softly on my lips till there is speaking
A drop or two of blood
On the carpet, frozen sponsor brands
Razor blade.
