Can you see them fall? Because we've never seen a snowflake.
Face pressed against the window,
Steam rising from the mug.
Hoping, dreaming, wishing,
To see a snowflake drop.

Go outside and play,
Grab your mittens,
Grab your boots,
Pretend to build a snowman,
Out of dust.

Make a fort,
Throw snowballs,
Make prints after footfalls.
As sugar runs down the sky.

And all I've ever dreamed of,
All I've ever wanted,
Is to watch a snowflake fall.
