A poem about education, life, and the future of our children - a prose poem. |
| Amongst the most dismal and ungodly truths Known is the timelessly bleak concept Of tragedy which darkens Our inimitable, and at times, Disheartening world; Fate often takes a painful And gut-wrenching descent Into chaos which eventually leads To appropriate countermeasures, Making righteous and sound legal claims, Or seeking worthwhile, professional guidance and counseling To restore life to its treasured normalcy... But whether or not we respect These often-revered values or hold dear Our most ideal and comparable worth Shall depend on our own futures, Our children's futures, And our children's offsprings' futures; For education offers a distinct and infinite realm Of challenges and rewards For a lifetime of dutiful and talented teaching, Aimed at that clamor of energetic, Gifted, and euphoric children Gracing our planet with their Glorious visions, intuitive insights, And infectious goals... |
