"Guard duty" Open in new Window.

As boredom overtakes him
He falls fast.asleep
Guard duty can be really tough
Yet it must be done
The sleeping soldier does not hear
The enemy make their approachr
The lieutenant it see is always awake
He hears the soldier softly snore
He hears the enemy.approach
A grenade wakes the snoring soldier
He is no longer bored.
