The Poem That Shares My Life |
| Line Count: 24 What Makes Me... Me What makes me me Is what I see When I close my eyes And count to three When I open them back The world is new With blizzards of sand And cold fires of blue A mountain of ice Stands sparkling too My laughing moon Watched as it grew and grew Though my moon is out My sun shines just as brightly Not a cloud in the sky To cover it's mighty It sweeps a green hue over the moon And turns a lake purple The beautiful dust cloud Couldn't be more beautiful But then I close my eyes again Just for a blink, And then my world is gone And my reality is nothing but a dream |
