Uphill Goals - Downhill Knows

The strength to plan a career often works out - a rhyming poem.

Life and love keep coming and going
However, our pay's not surely growing -
College represents an opportunity
To look for goals and job identity.

A possibility's a gorgeous sight
Just plot your aim and hold on tight -
A book, a flyer, some magazine,
Or news or poster can lead to green.

With solid backing, dreams take hold
Then rainbow's end, that pot of gold -
But low and behold, the prize is withheld
Then practicality, oppression meld.

If anything seen is what it is
Then actors revel in this biz
But the question of dreams all works out
Because early efforts give much clout...

Each attempt seems tied to the post
But the margin of victory is likely the most.
Because shifting gears while marching through time
Does lead to offers uniquely sublime.
