A girl with depression
The first day she sits near me
And smiles
She smells like those sugary drinks
Bought for a dollar
And they're full of caffeine

The second day
She sits and smells lke coffee
And I want to lean closer
But
She wouldn't smile then.

The third day,
She smells like cigarettes
And she doesn't smile,
But there are wrinkles around her eyes.

The last day
She smells like beer
But I can't see her face
Since she's avoided me
Ever since the day she smelled
Like coffee
