A poem about how you choose your own destiny
Destiny

Two doors…

Behind one door
lies a perfect diamond,
radiating a rainbow
of all that is right and good,
with the brilliance
of integrity and morals,
with promises of eternal grace…

Two doors…

Behind the other door
lies the lair of a dragon,
and a seductive mistress,
of all that is wrong and evil,
harboring iniquity, malevolence
and an insidious patience,
like a terminal cancer…

In life…

Continuously traversing
the infinite hallway,
passing the same two doors
repeatedly during the journey,
you will have to constantly,
and consciously decide
which door to enter…

You choose…

Upon crossing the threshold
of the chosen door,
the consequences,
good or bad,
become yours,
defining your character
and destiny for eternity…
