One Day...


You were the love of my life and still is

My heart swelled every time I saw you here

And though it seems that death has come to thee

The Fact that you are part of me is clear

Your smile lit up my life like a shining star

As it fixed the burning pain in my heart

When all was lost you made me feel I could

Made me believe pain demands to be felt

I was lost before but now I am found

It is written in the starts of my heart

Our love's a bird that sings when all is sound

Our love is like a song that never ends

And though you may not be right next to me

One day I shall be there to be with thee
