a poem about the inside of a schizophrenic's mind

Jumbled confusion,
primordial state,
disordered thinking,
forever his fate.

An abyss, a chasm,
an anarchy of mind,
a medley of bedlam,
his thoughts undefined.

Pandemonium surrounds,
as mayhem abounds,
a maelstrom of entropy,
he can’t stop the sounds.

Tumultuous havoc,
echos in his head,
in this state of turbulence,
he yearns to be dead.

Mental disintegration,
a frenzied laugh and cry,
he is disconnected,
this malady he can’t defy.

So utterly tragic,
this dissolution of his mind,
with disheveled confusion,
schizophrenia is how he is defined.
