Horses and fishes poets and beggars
If Wishes Were Horses
If wishes were horses, poets would ride,
With quill pen and parchment by their side,
Writing their odes in elegant script,
Love's honey-sweet words they'd encrypt.
If wishes were fishes, beggars would eat,
The succulent flesh of pink salmon meat,
They would dine on sushi and caviar,
For dessert get chocolate covered parr.
