2nd in a Series of what might happen to Nursery Rhyme & Fairy Tale characters in real life
Wee Willie Winkie runs through the town
Upstairs and downstairs but not in his nightgown
For Willie has a curfew, to be in bed by nine
His criminal behaviour means he's told to tow the line.

Willie doesn't care that he's supposed to be in bed
He much prefers to smoke until he's off his head
He breaks into the houses that may just have a stash
Of anything he might steal and then can sell for cash

Willie won't be running loose around their neighbourhood
They're locking him back up again because he can't be good
He'll stay there now, no getting out until his time is done
They wonder what it was that made him such a rotten one.
