As the sky prepares for morning.
Cobalt waves curl onto shores turning white,
Bright silver dances across the ocean's end,
Deep darkness overcome by great light.

Mist delivers a kiss to the air sparing great might,
Beaded waters glitter as they transcend,
Cobalt waves curl onto shores turning white,

Opal moon without clouds covering its plight,
Leaving the darkest hues rimmed where they bend,
Deep darkness overcome by great light.

New waters rush into the shore, they coil in the light,
Old waves retreat into the vastness to attend,
Cobalt waves curl onto shores turning white,

Trails of gleaming diamonds soon fight,
Umber shapes a moon ready to descend,
Deep darkness overcome by great light.

Midnight gives way; ready for morning's bright,
Though hours remain before the sun will ascend,
Cobalt waves curl onto shores turning white,
Deep darkness overcome by great light.
