Enough to withstand an enemy's ferocious legion
Of hostile responders -
With incredible acumen and drive
And one lethal dose of power,
These warriors can decimate their foes
And wear down even the craftiest competition.

But those winning ways became asserted
Early on by the parents, teachers, and coaches
Of these phenomenally gifted athletes.

And their domineering mettle
Is due in large measure
To the wondrous opportunities
Granted to them by their wise and disciplined
Mentors and coaches.

For those no-nonsense participants
Instilled in them
The beliefs, values, and training needed
